Product Review: Fenty Cheeks Out

Fenty Beauty is fast becoming one of my favourite brands. I love almost every product they come out with - the eyeliners, the primers, the lip products, oh the lip products!

When I saw the Cheeks Out collection on social media, I was itching to get my hands on them. I'm a girl on a budget, so I was only planning to get a few pieces, to be honest. Which is why I feel so incredibly lucky that I was gifted a big chunk of the collection so I could play and test the products out for you guys! There are tons of photos and swatches out there, so I'm just going to use the Fenty website swatches (they're damned good), and share my real, honest experience with you.

The collection has been out for a while now, so I've really gotten a chance to play and get a good feel of the formulation and how it works for:

  • Asian skin tones

  • Oily/combination skin

  • In a humid climate

What I think:

The collection is beautiful. There are some interesting colour choices (especially if you look at the pan without swatching).

Swatches from the Fenty Beauty website.

But once you see all the colours swatched on your skin, any doubt fades quickly away. The blushes have such beautiful colours that blend seamlessly into, and supremely flatter the skin. Of course, I had to film the blush in action, and I chose Fuego Flush to demo. Boy, was that a fantastic decision! Watch it in action:

Is that not the most beautiful blush colour you have ever seen in your entire life?

The formulation is also not too pigmented, which is a good thing! A lot of cream/liquid blushes can be intensely pigmented, and if you don't blend them out quickly and properly they end up looking patchy on the skin, and if you try to blend too hard you can end up taking off a big chunk of foundation along with the blush. This never happens with the Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out collection. The colours come out subtle and can be layered slowly to give you a flushed, glowy finish. Love!

If you haven't tried cream blush (or maybe have had a bad experience with some), please try your hand at the Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Cream Blushes. I guarantee you, you will not regret it.
