My New Skincare Routine: 6-Week Update

I am already at the 6-week mark with my introduction of these two SK-II products to my skincare routine, and it is about time for an update.

Adding extra products and a little more time than usual into my skincare routine (for maximum efficacy, these products should be gently patted into the skin repeatedly until you can no longer feel any stickiness or residue - this takes me about 20-30 pats) wasn't difficult, and I actually enjoy the process now. The Facial Treatment Essence is going fast, but I'm not sure how much of the Stempower Essence I've used up, since the bottle is opaque.

Are there improvements in my skin? Here's what I see so far.

My skin with minimal makeup. Acne scars and pores are still there but considerably less visible.

Without makeup. Please note that photo was taken with camera on beauty mode, however, no edits were made other than adjusting contrast.
Clearer skin. I'm not quite sure how else to explain it - my skin is now cleaner, less spotty, and more pleasing to the eye in general now. I think it might have something to do with both the lightening of my acne scars (I didn't know these products could do that!) and my next improvement...

Radiance and luminosity. I thought my foundation was being good, but then I realised that no matter what foundation I used, my skin was looking great. It has more of a glow to it now, and looks amazing on camera and in pictures!

Smaller pores. I no longer see the obvious 'dot' in my skin that shows where a pore lies, and the lessening of the appearance of these 'dots' all over my face means that my face does appear much clearer and cleaner.

No more breakouts! If you recall my first and second posts, I broke out quite badly from using these products at first. I'm glad I persevered because the cystic and normal acne are now starting to disappear! There are still leftover spots (as I mentioned, it takes forever for cystic acne to disappear) and one or two new ones, but the worst has passed and what lies ahead looks promising.

What I'm still looking for?

A reduction in the appearance of the fine lines around my eyes. My eyes are quite a source of grief for me - a few facialists I've been to say that I am not meant to have so many fine lines at my age - so I am still looking to see if there is any improvement in this area as I continue my use of these products.

A reduction in the appearance of the fine lines around my nose and mouth. These are not at all visible unless you look really, really closely, but again, my facialist says that they should not be there, so I'm going to keep an eye on those lines to see if SK-II can help make them go away (or at least stop them from getting worse!).

Radiance and luminosity. I know I mentioned radiance and luminosity in the improvements that I did see, but I also want to see more! I have a couple of friends who are loyal (and I mean for years!) SK-II users, and they have the most amazingly luminous skin, so I'm still looking for more. I will let you know how I go :)

What do you guys think about my progress? I think the results are pleasing, and I look forward to seeing what prolonged use will do for my skin.

Awesome results. I am an on again off again user of SKII and I have my own set of skin issues, but I must say my pores are definitely smaller than most my friends who don't indulge in this product.
