Packaging
This comes in a typical box, and the contents within it are sealed to prevent damage to the razor. It also comes with an extra razor head - yay :)
Product
The razor itself has an easy-grip handle, and the little strips above and below the razor blades contain a moisturising serum containing marine extracts and shea butter, that is meant to keep the skin hydrated and lessen the irritation from shaving. The strips are activated when they react with water, so they recommend that this be used in the shower. Schick claims that these strips last much longer than standard lubrication strips, but since I haven't used the razor that long, I can't confirm or deny this.
My favourite thing about this product was that it comes with a little suction holder that you can stick to the shower wall - it makes storage and shaving so much more convenient for me!
Performance
So I have used this razor a handful of times, and I actually really love it. I didn't know that it would feel so different because I have personally tried many different kinds of razors with many different claims and they all feel just about the same. This razor has a lot more slip when you're shaving (which I actually think is kind of dangerous if you don't know what you're doing, so I don't recommend this to "novice shavers", lol), and it actually feels really good on the skin. The skin on my legs get quite dry and irritated when I shave, and this razor lessened the post-shave irritation considerably more than some others I've tried.
As far as the 'close shave' claim goes, it does perform very well, and my legs are smooth and soft after I shave. However, I find that other razors perform just about as well as this does, so it's not a big selling point for me.
What is a selling point for me, though, is the 'water-activated moisturising serum'. Aside from the really smooth, easy shave that it gives you, it is actually quite interesting. It feels so nice on my skin (kind of like smoothing a jelly-textured moisturiser onto your skin), and also keeps the skin hydrated post-shave, and the plump, soft skin feeling lasts about three hours.
Price
I've come to expect a certain price range from Australian products, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that this retails for only AUD 14.25 at Woolworths, Coles, Priceline and selected pharmacies.

Review :
I have been using epilator for my under arms before and I got sent this razor by Emily to try it out. Since I need some shaving under my arms, I decided to use this razor this time. I like how it gives me a close shave that leaves my skin silky smooth, using it in the shower is so much better because it activates the moisturiser serum and the skin becomes soft with no razor bumps. It does make my skin a little bit itchy afterwards but Im sure thats just my skin reaction to the shaver. Overall, I love using this razor as it does not give me shaving bumps and leave any tiny hair unshaved. It makes my skin really soft afterwards as well which is always a plus.
First Impression:
The packaging is really compact, everything is arranged nicely in a box. Neat and tidy. I received extra blade as well. Everything is sealed properly and one thing that caught my eye about this razor is its cool design as well as its extra cylindrical looking thing which acts as skin guards. I find that very cool cause I wont cut myself like I used to again. Theres also a suction cup tool so that you can hang this razor up on the wall which is very convenient for me.
Finally, I would recommend this to people to use it :)

I didn't actually use it in the shower because, like a lot of other times, I forget until after I'm all clean. But even just a quick rinse under the water, the razor works amazingly! Very easy to handle and grip. The way the blades align makes it really easy to get the stubborn hairs out from in between them without the fear of cutting your fingers. My favorite features: the serum (deeeelish! feels like rubbing aloe vera all over my leg during the shave) and the movable razor head (what a nice surprise! it makes it so much easier to shave because it follows the shape of my leg AND again, I wasn't scared I was going to cut myself)!!
I would recommend it to everyone! Who knew you could fall in love with a razor! LOVE LOVE LOVE

I loved the sculpted feminine packaging (I'm a sucker for baby blue anything!) - and the ribbed, rubberized handle was super easy to grip and not slippery, even when my hands were wet.
The razor comes with serum that surrounds the whole razor head, making shaving very smooth and non-irritating. It comes with 5 blades which helps to attain a super smooth finish in no time.
The razor is easy to manoeuvre, even around knees and the back of my ankles. My legs and underarms were left silky smooth with no shaving irritation.
I highly recommend this great razor - I've always been a Gilette fan, but now I can that I'm officially hooked on Schick :)

Schick Hydro Silk Review
Thank you for the opportunity to trial this razor.
First off, the razor and razor handle itself is very pretty as the design is inspired by water and was ergonomic whilst pleasing to the eye. The razor came with an extra cartridge and a razor holder that is meant to attach to the wall of the shower via suction. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good at hanging onto the wall, and came crashing down several times, so I gave up using the razor holder after that.
As for the razor, it is a well designed and effective product. The razor handle was easy to grip and there was a hole in it that made it easy to fit a finger there and steady the razor during use. The blades were sharp and gave a precise, close shave, whilst the serum helped the razor glide along and moisturise my skin too.
Overall, this is a great product from Schick and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to defuzz their body via quick, effective and economical method!
