Makeup Tutorial: Using the Chanel Ombres Perlées de Chanel

Wednesday, August 17, 2011

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? I've been really busy lately and my Dad was also over to visit :)

So anyway! Here's a tutorial that I photographed a couple of weeks ago. I've had a lot of hits with my previous tutorial on how to use Chanel's Ombres Perlées de Chanel palette, so I thought I'd fine-tune it a little and post some better pictures. I hope you guys enjoy!

Start with your foundation. The Chanel palette is definitely not going to cause any fall down, so you're safe applying foundation before you do your eyes.

Apply the purple shade to your lid, stopping at the crease. I highly suggest applying this palette with your fingers, because that's the only way you'll get the product to melt and apply well.

Then, apply the dark green colour from the palette to the outer corner of your eyes.

Blend the edges to soften the look. The eyeshadow will fade, so you will have to reapply and blend as you go. It is definitely worth it, trust me!

(HAHA this picture looks HILARIOUS)
Anyway, anyway *composes self* apply the lightest pink colour to the inner corners of your eyes.

Apply a gel eyeliner to your lashline. Keep it thin in the inner corner and gradually thicken it towards the outer corner.

Finally, apply the lightest yellow shade to your brow bone.

Lightly dust a pale pink blush onto the apples of your cheeks. If you like, you can also apply the light pink colour from the palette onto your cheekbones to highlight.

Finish off with a pale/nude lipstick of your choice. And you're done!

I hope this tutorial was helpful!
