Waiting for Packages in the MailMonday, December 27, 2010
I have been home a lot lately, with a little shopping monster growing inside me.
I am waiting for a lot of packages to arrive in the mail. So what did I order?
I got two lipsticks from NYX, in Snow White and Fig. Snow White is a bold red colour (I've always wanted to try reds out!), and Fig is a pretty bright pink colour that I'm really excited to try out!
I've learned that tools are very important when creating a look. Brushes are more able to deposit colour compared to your fingertips. I have a set of basic brushes already, but I wanted to expand my eye brush collection, so I purchased a new set. I'm looking forward to trying out the smudge brushes.
Okay, this is kind of a crazy purchase. I already have a double eyelid, but it's not as well defined as I'd like it to be. In pictures, when I smile or look up, the double eyelid is completely hidden. I want to try and see if this will help keep my lid visible.
I never thought I needed eyelid primer, because I thought, for the most part, that eyelid primer only helped makeup stay in place. I never had a problem with my eyeshadows staying in place, but I only just realised how much more vibrant it makes my eyeshadows look.
I got Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide On Liner in Ransom. It is a gorgeous multi-coloured purple pencil that really pops out against your skin, no matter what shade. It looks amazing, and it's waterproof! I'm planning to bring this baby with me to Bali, so I'll post a review on its staying power when I do!
In my previous post, I mentioned finding this when I was looking for a long-lasting bronzer. I bought this, and I'm bringing it to Bali with me (seems like it's all I think about lately)!
I bought a whole bunch of accessories. Necklaces, bracelets! I am going to layer and then layer some more. After all, more is more nowadays, right?
i.d. Bare Escentuals Foundation
I have been using this foundation for the past 2 years, and I'm only just moving on to my second pot! I'm changing shades this time, though. I'm going a shade darker. I noticed that my foundation was a little light, so I checked their website and found a slightly darker shade, apparently more suited to yellow skin tones, and I'm hoping it was the right choice!
Barbie Loves Stila Liquid Eyeliner
